India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has imposed a nationwide lockdown in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus. What you need to do 1)Stay at home. Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times.Wash your hands as soon as you get home. 2)Do not meet others, even friends or family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms. 3)Wash your hands frequently. Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. 4)Maintain social distancing. Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. 5)Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. 6)Practice respiratory hygiene. Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
